Lisa Leport-Symonds moved to New Zealand with her husband, Phill, in 2008. They met Clive Coote, the inventor and engineer behind the X-Pole product through powerboat racing in 2004. Lisa is a qualified accountant with a background with some of the worlds largest brands. When she started a family in 2010 she entered into a joint venture with Vertical Leisure, the X-Pole parent company, to bring the X-Pole product range to the New Zealand market. She is the Managing Director of X-Pole NZ, overseeing the sales and admin operations, whilst adding her fun approach to accounting.
Suzanne Sweeney is a native Californian who followed her kiwi man, Rob, home to New Zealand way back in the 80's. Suz has many years customer service and personal training experience. She has been a fitness professional for over 30 years and a pole instructor and studio owner for the last 10 years on Auckland's North Shore. Suz has been working for X-Pole NZ for 6 years as our Sales Manager and technical expert. She lives on the North Shore with her kiwi husband.
Caron Thomas is the glue that holds the X-Pole team together. In her role as Accounts and Administration Manager Caron brings her vast experience she gained at several main NZ banks to the financial management and organisation of the X-Pole NZ team. She lives with her husband, Simon, 2 kids and a very cute bunny in Auckland and does fabulous work supporting her children's school. She also to loves to drink red wine and find it helps to keep up with the stress of managing Lisa and Suz.
